Often referred to by fans as one of the hardest-working, hardest-touring bands on the circuit today, the 5-piece Illinois-based act not only proves that classification with their jam-packed tour schedule but also on stage every night, with youthful exuberance and a lively stage show, as reliable as it is infectious. High energy percussion, mandolin, guitar, bass, banjo, and fiddle weave seamlessly together to create an experience for fans that has sold out shows across the UK and the United States, filling the front rows with fans not just singing along to one tune, but singing along to all of them.
Join us for great musical entertainment, food, dancing and fun! Cash bar, BAKE SALE, and 50-50 raffle! We need your help to keep our non-profit organization going to bring you a great music festival with our local talented musicains and beyond.

Hi folks,
The board members of the Thunder Bay Folk Society are sad to announce that we have decided to cancel the 2020 Thunder Bay Folk Festival due to COVID-19.
We are brainstorming some ideas to continue to “foster traditional music and arts in Northeast Michigan” in 2020. Unfortunately we cannot set any plans in stone as of now, due to not knowing the future of the pandemic.
Stay safe everyone and we cannot wait to see you all at the 2021 Thunder Bay Folk Festival!!
Thunder Bay Folk Society
Hi folks,
We know everyone has questions about this year’s music festival, whether it’s still happening, when can volunteers sign up and when will tickets be available.
We would like you to know that the health and safety of everyone is our first priority. The board members have decided to put all plans for the 2020 festival on hold until we are out of this pandemic crisis.
Changes and updates will be posted here on our website and our Facebook page as we continue to monitor the Covid-19 situation.
We extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all of our members, donors, grantors, sponsors, volunteers, performers, and attendees for your understanding. These are very difficult times, but we will get through them by working together. Thank you for your support of our shared mission to advance the arts in Northeast Michigan.
We hope you all stay healthy during this pandemic and please follow your health department guidelines for your and others safety. Strong Together!
Be safe, Thunder Bay Folk Society
